Cape Columbine
Cape Columbine Lighthouse

Cape Columbine Nature Reserve stretches along 263 hectares of rocky coastline and boasts the last manually controlled lighthouse to be built in South Africa. It is usually the first South African lighthouse to be seen by ships coming from Europe. The lighthouse was built in 1936 on Castle Rock. The light stands at a height of 80m above sea level and casts a beam, which is visible for nearly 50km.

Sea Shack offers beautiful hiking trails and unforgettable sunsets right on the Atlantic Ocean, camping - or rather glamping. Book your affordable family getaway now to avoid disappointment.

Child and Party Policy
Party Policy
Please note that we do not allow bachelor parties. If you would like to host any other party at Sea Shack, you are welcome! We do not ask for Venue Hire, you simply book out the whole camp. (Sleeps 28 in total)
Child Policy
We LOVE children! However, no matter the age, your child will be counted as a person when you book at Sea Shack.

Our facilities have been planned around maximum comfort for a finite number of people. The shacks have beds for two per shack. Single beds and Queen size beds are available. The tents have two stretchers each.

If your youngster cannot sleep in a separate room we suggest that you book Spongebob. Spongebob has been especially designed for a family with small children 0-6 yrs. The Shack is bigger and contains a cot and a small infant bed. Children over seven love sleeping in our wooden tents which are located right next to Spongebob in a secure area.
